Artist’s Bio
Taras Kamennoy (born in 1985 in Kharkiv, Ukraine) graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Arts and Design, department of monumental painting. He works across media ranging from drawings, objects and sculpture to site specific installations and performances. He has often meshed his practical experience as a construction worker with his creative work as an artist engaged in the subject of work conditions.
His works have been shown at Pinchuk Art Centre in Kyiv, Yermilov Centre in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Galeria Labirynt in Lublin, Poland, Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig, Germany, and other venues.
